GDPR NOTICE
As part of our training business, we will be in possession of personal data relating to you. This will include for example your contact details, and details relating to payment. Your privacy in relation to what information we hold is important and as such we will abide by the current data protection legislation. We are both individually registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Lawful basis for holding and using your personal information:
This legislation requires us to have a lawful basis for processing your personal data under article 6 of GDPR. In our business of providing training services this will be Article 6(1)(a) ‘consent’ in that you have requested services from us, Article 6(1)(b) ‘contract’, once you have booked onto a course there is an agreement in place between us.
How we use your information:
We use your data to keep records necessary for our business. We collect data necessary to run our courses, including lists of attendees and contact information which we use to advise you of upcoming workshops. If you wish to be removed from our mailing lists we will do so at your request. We retain lists of attendees and banking records for 7 years to comply with the law and requirements of HMRC.
Sharing your data:
We will only use your data for the purpose for which it was collected, and it will not be shared.
